Pasta By Hand is independently operated by an individual based in Hong Kong SAR. This notice describes the site’s current services and the information they may process. It is not a claim that the site has received formal legal approval.

Hosting and technical data

Cloudflare Pages is used for preview hosting and is the planned production hosting and network provider. Cloudflare may process network and security information such as IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser or device details, and security events to deliver and protect the site. The exact Cloudflare products, cookie behavior, log retention, processing locations, and account settings are checked against the deployed configuration and updated here when they materially change.

The site’s own code does not currently provide accounts, comments, a newsletter, payments, or a contact form. Google Analytics is not currently enabled. If analytics, advertising, or another tracking technology is introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated and tested before that technology is activated.

Email and voluntary information

Readers may voluntarily email contact@pastabyhand.com. An email may include the sender’s address, name, message, attachments, and technical information added by email providers. This information is used to respond to the request, investigate a correction, handle a permission enquiry, or address a privacy request. It may be processed by the service provider used to operate the mailbox. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Email correspondence will be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations, and then deleted or anonymized where practicable. Pasta By Hand does not currently sell personal data or use it for advertising profiles.

External links and international processing

Articles link to independent sources with their own privacy practices. Hosting and email providers may process information outside Hong Kong SAR. The production review must identify the actual providers, processing locations, safeguards, and transfer arrangements rather than relying on assumptions made from this local build.

Access, correction, and privacy requests

To ask whether Pasta By Hand holds personal data about you, or to request access or correction, email contact@pastabyhand.com with enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. Identity verification may be requested when reasonably necessary to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person.

A postal correspondence address has not yet been established. Privacy requests are currently handled through the email address above. This notice does not claim completed compliance with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance or every law that may apply to readers elsewhere.

The material is intended for adult home cooks and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child through the contact email.
